Butts on the Creek is an unusual name. It leaves one wondering, “What? Did the three little pigs come here to dine after the episode with the big bad wolf?”

The actual story of how this restaurant got its name is more down to earth. The owners simply came to this spot to literally sit next to the creek. Now they have a splendid restaurant where their guests enjoy sitting next to the creek.

The term “BBQ Blues” refers to the live music presented during the summer and fall season.

This rustic B-B-Q restaurant is nestled among large growth Maples, lovely landscaping, and sits above Jonathan Creek. It is shady and naturally cool even on the warmest summer days. A large yet cozy screened-in porch allows you to not only see Jonathan Creek but it also lets you hear it as it rushes down the valley floor.

Michael Agostini, who has spent a large portion of his teenage years at Butts On The Creek, is now Head Chef and runs the kitchen by helping to create the delicious food that locals and visitors alike enjoy. Catering is available, and Michael will cheerfully answer any questions you may have with his attention to detail whether your event is for 4 or 40.

Michael will tell you that his favorite time of year is when the leaves change colors and the days become crisp. On warm Fall days, the porch screens allow visitors to enjoy the sounds, colors and smells of autumn. On colder days when a sweater becomes necessary the porch windows go up and the heaters go on.

Butts on the Creek's kitchen utilizes a Southern Pride Smoker which produces perfectly cooked meats. The house signature dish is Fried Corn, yes we did say Fried Corn and it is a must try for first time visitors and a favorite of return customers alike.
